A: The Foundations class is designed to build your core and body strength and your confidence, before challenging yourself to the more advanced moves often found in the Classic classes. Learning quick transitions from move to move is also a plus. We suggest staying in Foundations as long as you like! And don’t be afraid to come back to the Foundations class often as you work to perfect your form! RANGE OF MOTION:
We work in our “Effective Range of Motion” to maintain time under tension and keep our muscles activated for the duration of the workout. Utilizing our effective range of motion is one reason the workout is so efficient and only 40 minutes. By ensuring that the muscles are engaged and activated in our effective range of motion, we work them to failure and get the most out of every move, every minute, and every class.
