Frequently asked questions

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

  • Classes must be cancelled at least 12 hours in advance on either our website or our app.
  • If cancelling less than 12 hours before class, you will be charged $15 and a loss of a credit.
  • ​If you don’t show up for class, you will be charged $50, a loss of a credit, and the guilt of knowing you prevented someone else from taking class!
  • There are no exceptions and no refunds, so please be responsible for your personal schedule.

HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?

  • Sign up just like you would for class.
  • Remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend.
  • You will automatically be added to class as a spot opens up, up to 1 hour before class.
  • You will be notified by email if you have been added to class.  Do not rely on your app as it might not have updated.
  • When you are added to class, you are responsible for canceling at least 12 hours before class to avoid late cancel fees.
  • Please do not use the waitlist if you do not want to be responsible for checking your emails.  You will be charged a no show fee if you do not show up.
  • ​If you prefer to not use the waitlist, please make sure to check back a few hours before class, as many times, spots have opened up!

WHAT IF I DON'T SHOW UP?

If you do not show up for your scheduled class, you will be charged a $50 fee.
There are no exceptions for a no show.

CAN I TAKE MORE THAN ONE CLASS IN A DAY?

No.  One class per day only!  No exceptions.

I'M RUNNING LATE, CAN I STILL TAKE CLASS?

Classes start right on time and our doors are locked.  You will not be admitted.  It’s disruptive to clients when others arrive late.  Please plan to arrive at least a few minutes before class, so that you are ready for class to begin on time.  If you are not here on time, you will be charged a no show fee.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

bringing a guest for the first time

Your guest must arrive at least 10 minutes before class if they have never taken a Lagree Fitness class before.  Your guest will not be able to take class if they do not arrive 10 minutes early.

May I request a class time that isn't offered?

Absolutely! We always take our clients’ needs into consideration. If you’d like to see a new class time added, email us a request at​ [email protected].

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT?

Minors age 14-15 are welcome to attend the Essentials Class with their parent or guardian. Clients 16-17 years of age will require a New Client Waiver to be signed by their parent or guardian. 

I'M INTIMIDATED! WHERE SHOULD I START AS A BEGINNER?

CoreStrong is a place for everyone from beginners to advanced athletes. We offer a non-intimidating, non-judgmental environment so you can learn how to work your body safely and effectively.
Start with Essentials! This class is focused on form and tempo.  Your instructor will guide you through a carefully planned routine allowing for a full body workout. You’ll learn the basics as you gain strength and confidence.  Whether you are in a beginner class or advanced, it’s Lagree, it’s all equally challenging!
Please inform your instructor if you are new, have any injuries or just need a little extra t.l.c. Our instructors are there to help you each step of the way as you learn and adapt to our workouts. Remember that you have to start somewhere - why not start with our expert trainers there to help you?
Honor your body. Compete with no one. Be proud of yourself.
Arrive 10 minutes prior to your first class start time to give the instructor time to review the Megaformer with you. Also visit "New to CoreStrong?" to learn more.

IT'S NOT PILATES, IT'S LAGREE

Although Pilates is a beneficial method, it’s not what we teach at CoreStrong.  Lagree Fitness was created by Sebastian Lagree 25 years ago as a muscular endurance and strength building method.  The Lagree Method is a revolutionary method that utilizes slow-twitch, fat burning muscles to build long-lean muscles and fire up your metabolism.  Be prepared to feel and see results in days, not months!

​WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

The most important thing is to be comfortable while you workout. With that said, clothing that is too baggy or loose will get tangled in our equipment and will be distracting to you. We also request no perfume or fragrances due to the allergies of some of our clients.

Help,  My credits are about to expire...

... and I haven't been able to use them. No worries! Please contact the studio at [email protected] BEFORE  your credits expire and we’ll be happy to extend your expiration date.  Once credits have expired, unfortunately, there is no way to bring them back.

Help,  My MEMBERSHIP IS EXPIRED...

... Memberships expire after one year.  To renew simply go to the "BUY NOW" page, select the Membership you want and purchase new.
